Peacefully, at the Borders General Hospital, on July 29. 2025, Ian,
beloved husband and best friend of Midge, will be sadly missed by all.
Service at the Borders Crematorium, Melrose, on Monday, August 18, at
11 am, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only, please.

Thank you for being a wonderful teacher. You gave me such confidence in my writing . You kept my poem on the blackboard even after I left school. I will dedicate my first book to you. Much love and respect . May you rest in peace .
