ELLIS Arthur (Balerno) Peacefully, but suddenly, after a long illness, at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, on October 22, 2011, Arthur (formerly of Scottish & Newcastle), beloved husband and best friend of Bette, much loved dad and father-in-law of Arthur and Laura, Arlene and Robin and Andrew and Debbie, adored grandad and great-grandad of Alun, Aynslie, Lauren, Kerry, Greg, Caitlin, Eve and Hannah, loving brother and brother-in-law of Joe and Margaret, Bill and Elspeth and dear uncle of the family. A celebration of Arthur's life will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium Main Chapel, on Tuesday, November 1, at 12 noon, to which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only please, but a collection in aid of Prostate Cancer will be held at the crematorium.
