Remembering with admiration and fondness, many meetings and visits over the years, most especially a visit to Zaga´n, Poland, where Lady Brigid was welcomed with great affection as a revered guest of honour at the unveiling of a statue honouring Wojtek The Soldier Bear.
Sincerest condolences to all the family of Lady Brigid.

I remember with fondness a number of occasions we met, in particular in her house, in connection with the making of a film about General Maczek. She was a staunch supporter of links between Poland and Scotland.
