Peacefully, at Trinity House Care Home, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, aged 99. Dearly loved husband
of the late Marjory Waterston
(nee Douglas), brother of the late Allan Kinnear Waterston and dear uncle of Georgena, Geoffrey, Geraldine and Richard.
Retired Keeper of Geology and Deputy Director at the National Museum Chamber Street and on retiring General Secretary of The Royal Society of Edinburgh.
Grateful thanks to Trinity House for providing kindness and a caring home for the last 13 months.
Details of a Thanksgiving service for a life well lived, will be announced in due
course.
