HUGHES Chris (Newtown St Boswells) Bravely and with dignity, at the Borders General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, Chris, beloved husband of Jean, much loved father of Pamela and Richard, father-in-law of Graeme and Ann, loving papa of Gregor and Andrew, dear son of Christine and the late John and brother to Bernard and Marie. Sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral service at St Cuthbert's High Cross Church, Melrose, on Friday, September 19, at 12.30 pm, followed by interment at Wairds Cemetery, Melrose, at 1.30 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Donations, if desired, will be received on retiring from service for Ward 6, Borders General Hospital.
