It is with deep sadness that the family announce the death of David Orr Smith Binnie, peacefully and surrounded by family, on March 17, 2026, aged 84, at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.
Dearly loved husband of Jeanette, wonderful dad to Jacquelyn, Andrew and Kathryn and proud grandad to
Thomas, Lewis, Izzy, Angus, Edith and Casper. Much-loved brother of the late Chris, father-in-law to Simon, Su and Danny and friend to many.
A private burial will take place, followed by a remembrance service for David at St John's and Kings Park Church, Dalkeith, on Thursday, April 2, at 12 noon. All family and friends are warmly invited to the service.
Family flowers only, please.
