Died on December 16, 2022, aged 71, after a lengthy illness which he faced privately with stoicism and courage. Himself to the end. Derek was dearly loved and will live on in the hearts of his wife Judith, his daughters Eilidh, Lucy, Hannah and Clara, granddaughters, Amaya and Bea, sister Doreen, as well as partners and all the extended family. Funeral service at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, on Friday, January 6, at 11 am.
