CARSON Emily Elizabeth Jane (Liz) (nee Yorston) (Orkney)
Dearly beloved wife of George, a devoted mum to David, Janie and Andrew and proud granny, died peacefully at Smiddybrae House, on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Funeral service at Firth Church, Finstown, on Saturday, February 6, at 2 pm, thereafter to Firth Cemetery, to which all are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Speakability and Smiddybrae House Activities Association.

Liz Carson was my mother-in-law for several years. Both herself and George were the most welcoming and caring of people. I have many many happy memories of spending time with them and would like to light a candle for them both, now reunited.
