Peacefully and following a long, courageously fought battle with dementia, Ernest passed away on September 26, 2025, at Frith House in Somerset. Greatly loved father of Aeron and Rossie and grandfather of Tigan, Nadia, Ru, Zen, and Felix. Ernest will be sorely missed for his huge heart and quirky sense of humour. Celebrations of Ernest's life will be held in British Columbia, Canada (December 2025) and the Scottish Highlands (summer 2026), the two places he loved most. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Dementia UK (www.dementiauk.org).
