THOMSON Gary G. J. (Bonnyrigg)
Peacefully, at home with his loving family by his side, Gary, dearly loved husband and best friend of Sheila, loving dad of Gary, Allan and Jacquelyn, cherished father-in-law of Lukasz, Kara and Ryan and devoted brother-in-law and uncle. A celebration of Gary's life will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, on Saturday, December 19, at 10 am, to which all are welcome. Family flowers only, no black ties, denims and humorous ties if possible. A retiral collection will be taken in aid of Cancer Research.

I just found out today. So shocked an amazing man taken so soon . He always went the extra mile and helped me through my illness . - You always come to mind every time I hear the Quo . Thanks for all your help Gary .

A big thank you to Gary who looked after my whole family for years keeping them plus myself so safe. My brother Andrew regarded Gary as a Brother in arms,they had the same sense of humour and had many a laugh! Andrew died suddenly 1/11/2008

Gary was my mother's GP way back in the mid 1990's and lived within a few doors of each other in Viewbank Road. I remember him as a caring and great family man. My sympathy and thoughts are with his wife and the rest of his family.
