SWINTON Jane Shaw (Dalry, Edinburgh) Peacefully, at Western General Hospital, on April 13, 2008, Jane, beloved wife of the late George Swinton. Service at Warriston Crematorium Cloister Chapel on Friday, April 18, at 3.10 pm, to which all friends are invited.

Jayne, as we knew her, was a wonderful lady. I hope you know how much we enjoyed and loved it when you came to Florida to visit with my family in 1990. My mom, Beth, and I think about you often. You were so generous, loving, and funny. I remember you saying you weren't going to chase me around the neighborhood because you were an old lady. We got ice cream every day and had a wonderful time. It continued with your letters and your phone calls. We both loved the same books. There was a special connection with us. My mom and I loved you like family. I wish someone had told us about your final arrangements because we would have been praying and thinking about you even more. You'll always be in our hearts.
