Jean died peacefully, on October 22, 2025, shortly after celebrating her 90th birthday, in the exceptional
care of Trinity House Care Home, which has been her home for over two years. Jean was the only daughter of the late James and Jane Laidlaw and a loyal
and devoted friend of many who will feel her loss deeply.
Her cremation will take place at Warriston Crematorium, Cloister Chapel, on Thursday, November 6, at 1.30 pm, to which all friends are cordially invited. She requested no black clothing at the service please.

Happy memories of Jean. I was Lifestyle co-ordinator at Trinity House while she lived there - so Jean and I had lots of fun together. Rest in peace, Jean.
