At the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on February 7, 2026, after a short illness, Jeane Freeman, (aged 72 years), passed away with her beloved partner Susan by her side, having received exceptional care from all NHS staff. A loving sister to Jim and the late George, aunt to Nicola, Louise, Andrew, Paul, Rachel and the late Brian and a great-aunt, as well as a treasured friend and colleague to many.
A private cremation will be followed by a service of Thanksgiving at Bute Hall, Glasgow University, on February 28, at 1.30 pm. All welcome. Donations in Jeane's memory can be made to the Beatson Cancer Centre.
