Bill and Jenny were dear family friends. My parents first met them outside the school gates of Flora Stevenson where my big brother Ian and Nick were in the same class. My father Scott and Bill sat on the juvenile panel together, and Bill officiated at my wedding, and the funerals of my mother Ann and Grandfather George, and was a huge support through those times. Jenny was always warmly beaming, intelligent and encouraging. I remember a rousing ceilidh at their Palmerston Place flat, and teas in their later house where the loo was plastered with political cartoons. Intrepid cyclists, their enthusiasm and positive spirit through a life of service made the people and the world around them better. What better legacy is there than that? My heartfelt condolences to Anne and Nick and Justin and their families, who were always proudly pictured on Jenny´s Christmas cards. In her words "orra best".

Thank you Nick for letting The Willmer Family know of your mother´s passing. Our mother Jean sends her loving wishes to you ALL as would Peter if he was with us. Bill Brockie being our vicar at Gt Staughton for many years along with wife Jenny were long lasting friends at a big influence in our early years with the church, especially for me Andrew.
Our heart felt condolences to Anne Nick & Justin, sorry we cannot be with you at the funeral
Our thoughts will be with you on the day
Sincerely
With love

It was with sadness we heard about the death of Jenny Brockie. Bill and Jenny had quite an impact on the village of Great Staughton and on the lives of our family. My parents Jean and Peter Willmer were great friends of theirs and Bill blessed my marriage some 42 years ago and gave me a treasured copy of The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. They were good people and are sorely missed.

I have so many memories of Jenny and Bill - Jenny´s quiet force and her generosity and nurturing of students in the Anglican chaplaincy-
