Peacefully, at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, after a sudden illness at home, on January 1, 2026. Joan, dearly beloved wife of Colm, devoted sister to the late Moira, brother-in-law Alastair, brother Ian and sister-in-law Maggie. Loved auntie to her nephews, nieces and great-nephews.
A truly exceptional woman who will
be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 4 pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the British Heart Foundation.
