Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Deanfield Residential Home, Hawick,
aged 90, John Aitkin, MBE, TD, CA. Much loved husband and companion of Charlotte.
Dear father of Sara, William and the late John. Brother,
father-in-law, papa to his five grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
Private committal service at Borders Crematorium followed by a memorial service in Mansfield House Hotel, Hawick on Thursday, August 8, at 1 pm,
to which all are welcome.
No flowers please but donations may be made to Poppyscotland.
