After a long illness, John (b. 1949) passed away peacefully, at Fidra Care Home, on Monday, March 9, 2026.
John was a loving and caring husband and will be greatly missed by his wife Wendy, their children Murray and Joanne, their partners and his three grandchildren. He cherished his friends and colleagues made over his lifetime, from childhood in Stenhousemuir and over his long career with the Bank of Scotland which took him to Aberdeen, Kirkcaldy, Haddington, Coldstream, Edinburgh and London.
A funeral service will take place at Houndwood Crematorium, Eyemouth, on Tuesday, March 24, at 12 noon.
All friends are welcome. Family flowers only. Any donations to be made to Fidra Care Home, North Berwick.
