John Sharp Obituary
SHARP Dr John Clarkson Macgregor (Clark) (Barnton) Consultant Epidemiologist retired and formerly Honorary Medical Officer for the SRU. Suddenly, on Friday, November 20, 2009, at home, following a long illness fought with his usual irrepressible humour, Clark, dearly loved and loving husband of Elizabeth (Betty), proud father of Karen and Stephanie, good friend of their husbands Christian and Angus, doting grandfather of Gabriele, Edward, Tor and Ingrid. A celebration of Clark's life will be held at Warriston Crematorium Lorimer Chapel, on Friday, November 27, at 10 am, to which all family and friends are cordially invited. Family flowers only. Will be sorely missed.

Clark's death
Dear Betty,
I was so sorry to see in yesterday's Scotsman about your lovely husband. You and I worked together in the Eastern General where I was a radiographer. We all then met again quite by chance in the Lithotripter Unit where your daughter was also working . I remember it well and we had a nice chat and I remember saying I had had a crush on Clark in my youth.!!!!. He was a great guy and you had a long and happy marriage which I hope will help you get through this very sad time. Your daughters and grandchildren will also be a big support to you.
