It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Karen Thirkell, aged 62 years, on Monday, January 20, 2025. North Street, Elie and formerly of Anstruther.
Dearly loved wife of Ian Dowell, very much loved and loving mum of Lewis, dear stepmum to Karen and James, a very dear grandma and a dear sister to Jenni and Gillian.
Karen was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed.
Funeral at Anstruther Cemetery, on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11am. Followed by a memorial service in Anstruther Town Hall at 12 noon. All friends are warmly invited. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu to Macmillan Cancer Care would be very welcome.
