Lady Catherine
(Edinburgh)
Peacefully, on June 17, 2025, at Glencairn Care Home, Kate (née Fox), aged 81, much loved and loving mother to Brian, Francis, James, Michael,
Annie and Tony, and devoted Granny
of twenty-one grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements as follows.
On Thursday, June 26, 2025, reception of remains and vigil at 6 pm, at St Columba's RC Church, 9 Upper Gray
St, Edinburgh, EH9 1SN. On Friday, June 27, 2025, Requiem Mass at 10.30 am,
at St Columba's, followed by burial at 1.30 pm, in St Conval's Cemetery, Glasgow Road, Barrhead, Glasgow,
G78 1TH. All are warmly invited to all and any of these events.
Family flowers only please, a collection will be taken in aid of Dementia UK.

My sincere condolences to Kate's family. Her death made me cry and I would have loved to have seen and talked to her again after years being out of touch.

Always a kind and wonderful friend, a superb example of how to care for and
raise a large family , an excellent mother. Kate never lost her sense of fun
and her devotion to her Church and disciplines. A Christian throughout. We
send our heartfelt condolences to all Gills at this sad time.

Very sad to read of dear Kate's death. We first met when we were members of the Edinburgh West Children's Panel. We became friends and played bridge together and she invited me to join Toybox. I have very fond memories of happy occasions at the house in Lauder Road. My sincere condolences and sympathy to all her family. Joan Rose
