Peacefully, at Morningside Manor Care Home, Edinburgh, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by family. Lena, aged 91, beloved wife of the late Ronald (Ron), much loved mum to Theresa, Mike, Nigel, Angela, Graeme and Cheryl. Loving grandma / nana / granny to 13 grandchildren,
great-grandma / great-nana to 5
great-grandchildren and a dear mother-in-law.
Many thanks to all the staff at Morningside Manor Care Home for their care of Lena over the last
2 and a 1/2 years.
Funeral service at Mortonhall Crematorium, Pentland Chapel, Edinburgh, on Monday, March 30,
at 11.30 am, to which all are welcome. Family flowers only please, a collection will be taken on retiral of the service in aid of Alzheimer Scotland.
