Died peacefully, at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, on October 11, 2025.
Dearly loving partner of Ray.
A funeral will take place at Warriston Crematorium, Lorimer Chapel, on Thursday, October 30, at 1 pm, to which all friends are welcome. No flowers.

In Memory of Mike Paton
I had the pleasure of working with Mike during the early noughties and 2010s. He was an absolute joy to be around - always quick with a laugh and someone who made the office a brighter, better place.
I´ll admit, I used to take the mick out of him from time to time, but Mike always took it in the best of humour - that was just who he was.
He had a real passion for acting with the Leith Theatre, a love of motorbikes, and of course, his beloved dachshund, little Ollie. Over time, my partner and I spent a bit of time with Mike, Ray, and Ollie outside of work - including a few memorable evenings over red wine - and it was always a pleasure.
We´ll never forget you, Mike. You were one of the best.
