1st Anniversary A day of memory sad to recall,
Without farewell she left us all.
What she suffered she told but few,
And there was nothing we could do.
She was a mother dear and rare,
Content in her home, always there.
Unselfish ways, heart of gold,
No better mother this world could hold.
