Peter David Robertson
(Haddington)
Died peacefully, at home, after a short illness, aged 85. Owner of The Thrie Estaits antique shop in Edinburgh for many years and more recently at Fenton Barns.
Peter has requested a private funeral and burial at Hundy Mundy alongside his partner of over 50 years Walter. Following Peter's wishes he also requested there be no celebration after the private funeral.

My wife and I were customers and friends of Peter and Walter, we just loved the shop. Peter was a lovely man but rather shy, Walter on the other hand was outgoing and gregarious and was quite the story teller. We were devastated when the shop closed and we lost contact with Peter. We are very sad at his passing but so glad we knew them.

My mum's cousin, I visited his shop and remember how kind he was to me, talking to me about my grandfather who had recently died and giving me a hand made tile which I still have. My mother and he always wrote to each other at Christmas and he had beautiful handwriting, but when my mum died in 2020 I tried to let him know, but he seemed to have moved. I am sad not to have been able to contact him.
