Peacefully, on May 29, 2018, in the care Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Romaine Patricia, retired Deputy Head of St Margaret's School, Edinburgh, loyal sister of Heather, devoted aunt and great-aunt to her family and valued neighbour and friend to many. After a private family funeral, a gathering to remember Romaine's life will be held in Greyfriars Kirk Edinburgh, at 2 pm, on Friday, June 15, 2018. Feel welcome to wear bright summer clothes. You will be sadly missed. You were a good and kind lady. You were my teacher and mentor at St Margaret's. As a beginning teacher, you were there to advise me about a teaching contract. More importantly, your life radiated Gospel values. Vicky Millan, SENCO, Notre Dame High School, London.

Ah Romaine, I will miss your regular skypes every week, we shared our woes. Your were such a strength to myself in all the years I knew you. I will also miss visiting Crauchie, your garden, soup etc. Say hi to the angels.
