Peacefully, after a 4-month illness,
Tom Batey, passed away, aged 92 years, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, beloved husband of Beth, loving dad to Dan and his late eldest son Jamie, cherished grandad to Ewan and Elena and lovely
father-in-law to Gaëlle.
Funeral service at Aberdeen Fountainhall Church, formerly Queens Cross Church, on Tuesday, November 18, 11.30 am. The family will also hold a memorial at Braid Hills Hotel
(134 Braid Road, EH10 6JD) in Edinburgh, on November 20, at 3 pm. Family flowers only, please.
