Age 93, after a short illness, at St. Columba's Hospice, on Friday, September 29, 2023. Bill was widely acknowledged as an international leader and pioneer in clinical oncology and radiation biology. Beloved husband of Joyce, father of Gordon, Graeme and Ian, grandfather of Ross and Glen. A private committal will take place followed by a service at Cramond Kirk, Edinburgh, at 4 pm, Monday, October 9, 2023. The service will be live-streamed and available for later access on request. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Columba's Hospice or Cramond Kirk.
