William Wallace (Bill)

Peacefully, on December 20, 2025,
at the Western General Hospital,
Bill, much loved and loving husband
of Agnes and brother to John.
Funeral service on Wednesday, January 21, at 12 noon, at Mortonhall Crematorium, Main Chapel, to which all are warmly invited. No flowers please.

So very sad to learn of Billy's passing. I have good memories of him at school and at subsequent reunions. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and my deepest sympathy to all his family at this difficult time.

We knew Bill from a young age as he was our family butcher and sometimes delivered our meat to Morningside Drive on the shop bike. He took over from my sister Anne as the Akela at Greenbank Cub Scouts and both Anne and I were ACSL's under his leadership. Happy times with Bill, Mitch and Diana, all sadly passed now.
We left Edinbuurgh in 1970 for work but often saw Bill at the Buckstone or Golf Club when we visited.
A great friend to have had, reliable and wise who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
