On February 17, 2026, William John Mitchell Watson (Bill), former resident of Craiglockhart Drive South, passed away aged 93.
A much loved and loving husband of the late Nan, dad of David and Ian, father-in-law of Elizabeth and Helen, an adored and devoted grandpa to Katherine (and Matthew), Andrew
(and Nicola), Alex and Emily, great-grandpa to Finlay and a loyal friend
to many.
Bill spent many years as a respected member and office bearer of Craiglockhart Parish Church and the Kevock Choir.
A funeral service will take place in Rochdale, on Friday, March 13, 2026. A memorial service will take place in Edinburgh at a later date to be arranged.
