Sadly passed away on
28th October 2025, aged 82 years.
Much loved dad to Lorraine and Christopher, father in law to Gordon. Loving granda to Liam, Stephanie, Christopher and Lee and great granda to Leejay.
Loved and remembered always by Muriel, also a great friend to many.
Funeral service to take place on Monday 17th November at
Harton Cemetery Chapel at 2:15, followed by a service of committal at Harton Cemetery at 2:45pm.
Flowers welcome, please send all floral tributes to Johnson Family Funeral Directors, Whiteleas Way on the morning of the funeral.
Donations gratefully received to The British Lung Foundation.
Christopher will always be loved and remembered, never forgotten x x x

My sincere condolences to the family for your loss. I´ve known Chris for over 10 years when he religiously attended my karaoke nights (Big Bob´s Karaoke) at The Chi Arms, as well as The Vigilant in Harton Village. Always known as "Gozzy," he was always remembered for his love of Elvis, especially his favourite song, "I Just Can´t Help Believing" & many others. He loved a bit of Perry Como, but his favourite had to be David Alexander´s "I Am A Working Man" which he dedicated to all those who worked down the pits, including himself (I have a short video of him singing that song on one of my karaoke nights which I´ll post on my Facebook page for all see). I have fond memories of visiting Gozzy at his home & to see his Elvis memorabilia. And he often talked about his racing pigeons, his allotment & his record breaking onions. God bless you Gozzy & may you R.I.P.
