Heather Carr Obituary

Carr
Heather Buckanan
19.06.1943 - 20.04.2025
Cleadon
On 20th April peacefully at Sycamore Care Home, Boldon. Heather aged 81 years,
a most beloved daughter of the late Doris Carr (nee Shotton)
and the late Leonard.
Much loved niece of Doris' sisters, Ruth Cook and her husband Harry (Henry) Stokes Cook, and Nancy (Ann) Fenwick and dearest granddaughter of Ann Shotton,
all of whom predeceased Heather. She was also a much valued and special friend of the late
George Ernest Buequoy Storey of Sheriff Hill, Gateshead.
Heather had many interests, but she will be remembered mostly for her compassion in tending injured and homeless creatures. Now she is at rest, reunited at last with those whom she loved with the many furred and feathered friends for whom she cared during her lifetime.
When all is at an end, the memory of our parting will be only a dream.
The service will take place in South Shields Crematorium on Thursday 29th May at 2pm.
Donations if so desired to The Cat & Dog Shelter, Newcastle.
A collection box will be available as you leave the chapel.
Friends are warmly welcome back to The Little Haven for refreshments.
All enquiries to Glen Miller Funeral Directors, Whitburn. 0191 6912051

I'm sadened at your passing but know you will be romping around with all your furry four-legged friends and flying high with your birds. RIP Heather - you have been a dear and loved friend for more that 50 years. I will miss you dearly.
