Suddenly on 30th April,
aged 46 years.
Beloved son of George and
the late Margaret.
John was a much-loved
brother to Ruth and
brother in law to Eduardo.
John was also an adored
uncle to Edward.
John will be deeply missed by
all who knew and loved him.
Church service at All Saint's Church, Cleadon Village on
Wednesday 11th June at 2pm followed by a service at
South Shields Crematorium
at 2.45pm.
Family and friends are kindly invited afterwards to the Little Haven Hotel in South Shields from
3.30pm for a celebration of
John's life.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to the Mercy Ships, donations may be
received at the Crematorium.

John and I met at university and immediately bonded over our shared initials. He was an immense presence - all who met him immediately warmed to him. I recently embarked on a bit of a trip down memory lane to reconnect with people I loved when I was younger - partly to see if they still got on with me but also to see if I still cared about them. John was low on my list simply because I knew I would feel the same about him now as I did 29 years ago. John, I am so sorry I didn't prioritise you in my journey.
