It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sylvia Huckle, who died at home on 28th January.
A much-loved daughter of the late Jinny and Ernie, Sylvia was a cherished sister to the late Ernie, Jean, Raymond and the late Thomas. She was also a beloved sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt, and a respected colleague and friend to many.
Sylvia was a dedicated nurse for over 50 years at South Tyneside Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her care and compassion.
The funeral will be held on
25th February at 10:30am at South Shields Crematorium.
Family flowers only, please; donations, if desired,
to the British Heart Foundation.
