Thomas (Tommy)
It is with great sadness that we announce Tommy passed away peacefully after a short illness
on 30th December 2025,
aged 89 years.
Beloved husband of Elsie,
much loved father of Mark and father-in-law of Gillian. A dear brother to Betty and a cherished brother-in-law to Olive and Mike and their families. A loving grandad to Laura and Carl and their partners Dom and Zoe, and a proud
great-grandad to Gracie and Reggie.
Known to many as Tommy, he was a partner in the local business
Atom Intruder Alarms and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service to be held at
South Shields Crematorium on
28th January 2026 at 2pm.
Family flowers only please; donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Research UK.
