Christopher GOSLING Obituary

GOSLING Christopher Charles

On 13th February 2022, suffered a Cardiac Arrest in Fort McMurry, Canada. He was transferred to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. Unfortunately, on Sunday the 19th February 2022, while surrounded by his Wife Elaine, and two sons, John and David, he passed away at the age of 58. He also leaves behind, in the UK, his Mother Gillian A. and Brother Andrew Gosling. After leaving the Peele School, Chris worked in farming. He became specialized in growing Daffodils which would eventually lead him to emigrate to Canada. His love of sport in his youth was evident with his success in cycle racing with the Wisbech Wheelers. He enjoyed supporting Norwich City Football team, and was a super-fan of the Kings Lynn Speedway Stars. Chris became a part of every community he lived in. He volunteered as a policeman in Lutton, worked for the millennium committee in Hunworth, and a firefighter during the Fort McMurray Wildfire. His twinkle in his eyes and his warm smile, as many have said, will be a great loss to all who knew him. A Zoom Memorial Service will be held on Saturday 12th March, at 11:00amby his local congregation at St. Mary's Church in Saanichton, Canada.
