Mr Parsons was an inspirational teacher. After I left Spalding Grammar School he provided a reference for me when I applied to do further studies after my degree and he called me to find out what I was doing and to provide support. My thoughts are with his family, appreciating the challenges that carers with loved ones that suffer from Alzheimers endure from my own experience of this cruel condition. Thank you Mr Parsons for everything that you did for me and for making a real difference. If at all possible I would very much like to pay my respects at his funeral, respecting his family wishes if they prefer to keep it private.

Mr Parsons taught me during my time at Qegs. He taught me a great deal about life as well as Religious Studies. He was a funny, kind and knowledgeable man. His teaching has left a long standing impact on me.

Mr Parsons was my teacher during my time at QEGS. During my time there I learnt alot from him not just about Religious Studies but about life as well. He was funny, kind and loved teaching. I will never forget his last words to me before I left 'you have been one of the kindest most supportive students I have ever taught, and I will miss you in the class'
