Condolences to Ruth and family regarding the loss of Ray.... I was a close friend, among many others, here in Hastings but I was also a drummer for him in The Johnny Mars Band, White Lightning and Harry R and the Jump Jets. We toured, played and had festival highs, across Europe. Ray was an essential and consummate professional musician and character in any band. He will be missed by many and his eccentricities fondly remembered.
