Much beloved husband to his late wife Carol.
Loving Dad of Nick,
Zef and Jenny.
Brother of Anne and Vernon. Father-in-Law of Pamela and Peter, special Grandad of Laura, Isabel and Katheryn.
Graduate of Trinity College Dublin and dedicated English teacher to many secondary school pupils
in Stamford.
The funeral service will take place at Peterborough Crematorium on Tuesday 17th December
at 09:30 am.
Family flowers only.
Donations may be made at the service in memory for Prostate Cancer UK

I am so´rry to hear the passing of Mr.Ralphs we had such a lovely meal and get together last time. Such a lovely person.

So sorry to hear of Charles Ralphs' passing. I was a T.A. at the Queen Eleanor School in the late 1980s. Lovely man. Then we worked as fellow guides at Burghley House. Humble, unassuming but quietly v. knowledgeable! Some of us had (wrongly) identified a mythological character as "Bacchus" when it was, in reality, his side-kick "Silenus"! It was Charles who put us right. (That's what an college education does for you!) I bless his memory!

A fine kind teacher, he was also my form teacher in my first year at Fane School, the transition to Fane from primary school made far nicer and less scary by him.
