Jeffrey Culross BAKER

BAKER Jeffrey Culross 17.04.1934 - 18.10.2025 Jeffrey was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Born on 17th April 1934 to George and Beryl Baker, Jeffrey was raised in Nigeria and South Africa before returning to England to attend Oundle School. After completing his education, he joined the Royal Air Force, beginning a lifelong passion for aviation and engineering. Following his service, he continued his career as a civilian with the Ministry of Defence. During this time, for his loyal service, Jeffrey was formally commended by the Air Officer Commanding, RAF Sealand, as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours celebrations. Jeffrey and his beloved wife Marilyn shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised six children, five daughters and one son, and were blessed with a number of grandchildren, ten of whom survive him. His family will always treasure memories of Jeffrey's enthusiasm for aeroplanes, trains and the intricate models he so loved to build and share. Jeffrey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His funeral service will be held at Great Glen Crematorium on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at 2.30pm.
