MACLENNAN Maggie passed away peacefully
on 15th November
2023, aged 87 years.
Dearly loved
partner of the late
Vladimir Rodzianko.
Mother to Liz,
Fiona and Paul.
Grandmother to
Flora, Alex, Jamie,
Angus, Archie and Rory
and great-grandmother
to Finnan.
She will be greatly
missed by all her family,
friends and colleagues at
Stamford School and the
wider musical community.
The funeral service will
take place on Wednesday
13th December 2023 at
St George's Church,
St George's Square
in Stamford at
11.30am followed by
private interment at
Stamford Cemetery.
Family flowers only please

I was at SHS in the 70´s and have never forgotten Maggie´s kindness and encouragement in my musical endeavours. She frequently gave of her time to accompany me on my oboe and I was always in awe of her talent. She was a truly special person and I am so sorry to learn that she has died.

There simply aren´t sufficient words in existence to describe the true remarkableness of an individual whose impact on my life was and will remain massive. Maggie´s heart couldn´t have been kinder, and her contribution to others was testament to her one in a million character. I was extremely privileged to know her, and she will be majorly missed. My thoughts, condolences, and love are with all the family xxxxxxx

I have so many fond memories of my piano lessons at Stamford High School with such a lovely and patient teacher. I still have my piano books from the 70s with her writing in .. I remember her saying never stop playing..and I still play! My deepest condolences to her family .. fondest memories x
