Murdo passed away peacefully, at Bethesda on June 27, 2024.
Bella, Margaret, Marie and families would like to give thanks to all those who attended the funeral, those who called at the house giving practical help, cards and also the many phone calls received, to the Nurses, Care Staff and Doctors in the Community, Western Isles Hospital and Bethesda who provided care over the years.
Special thanks to the many friends and family who so regularly visited him in hospital and Bethesda. Also to the Office Bearers and ladies of Pairc Free Church for their support and help with practical issues, to A. MacRae Undertakers, Rev Calum MacDonald and Rev Iain MacRitchie for their personal tributes and supportive services at the funeral.
A collection raised in excess of £1600 which will be divided between RNLI Stornoway Branch and Bethesda.
