The family of the late Robert (Robbie) Macrae, 3 Campbell Place, Leurbost, would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all neighbours and friends for the many acts of kindness shown to us following our recent sad loss. Thank you for your support, flowers, cards, telephone calls and messages of sympathy, all of which were greatly appreciated and a great comfort to us.
A very special word of thanks to Margaret Macleod, Leurbost, for all she did for Robbie and for her kindness to him and to us as a family.
Our sincere thanks are also extended to his neighbours in Campbell Place, the doctors and staff at Langabhat Medical Practice, the doctors and staff of Medical Ward 2, WI Hospital, for the care given to him as a patient, all the home carers who attended to him in his own home, the district nurses and Macmillan Nurses and to the staff at Bethesda Hospice for the amazing care given to him in his final days.
Thank you to Crossbost Free Church and Rev Hugh Ferrier for the most comforting and personal service.
Grateful thanks to Alasdair Macrae, Undertakers and the graveside attendants for their professional and compassionate care and to all who came to pay their last respects.
The funeral collection raised £1700 for Bethesda Hospice.
