William MURRAY Obituary

MURRAY
William (Willie)
The family of the late William (Willie) Murray would like to express their sincere thanks to all friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy and practical support following their recent sad loss.
Heartfelt thanks to Rev James MacIver for conducting the funeral service, to Rev Hugh Ferrier for assisting with prayer, to Mr Calum Martin for precenting and to the office bearers at Back Free Church. Thanks also to Alastair MacRae and staff for their guidance and to James MacArthur, gravedigger.
We are very grateful to the staff of the Acute Assessment Unit, Medical Ward 2 and the Surgical Ward at Western Isles Hospital for the care and support given to Willie over the past couple of years, especially in his final days. Our thanks also go to the Start Team, home care staff and the Solas Day Centre for their kindness and respect.
We would also like to thank the staff at Kenny Froggans for their service to him and the staff at An Lanntair Café, where he enjoyed many morning coffees and good company on his trips to Stornoway.
Special thanks to the manager and staff of Leverburgh Care Home for the care and compassion shown to Willie over the past three months. We will always be grateful for the kindness shown to him and to us as a family.
Finally, thank you to all who attended the funeral and who gave so generously to the collection for Leverburgh Care Home.
God bless you all.
The Murray Family, Tong.
