Guilty of neglecting our friendship, forged at work and continued after. John's passing came as a shock. Although life had been a battle for him since his stroke, he seemed to carry on regardless and never complained. I wasn't aware of the cancer diagnosis and should have done more to keep in touch. So sorry. He was one of the good guys.
