Michael Caveney Obituary
CAVENEY Michael 15.04.1950 - 15.08.2025. We are very sorry to announce the death of Michael Caveney, headteacher of St Gregory's R.C. School from 1987-2012. He died on Friday, 15th August, and will be missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at Stratford Town Hall on Friday, 29th August, at 1.30pm.

Our daughters´ started their school life with Michael as their Headteacher.
His committed vocation was to show and enable every child to believe one could achieve whatever crossed one´s path
He was among those in his profession, whose commitment, was to inspire alongside protecting his `flock´

A very sad time. Michael was everything to my family when we arrived to live in Stratford in 1987. My wife Shelagh and our 3 children (Simon,Sarah and Patrick) were at the school during Michael´s time as Head. Our most sincere condolences go to his family. I did see him as a friend as well as our children´s school leader.
