Shanks (Penshaw, formerly of Elmwood Street) Peacefully in hospital on June 1st, aged 90 years, Andrew. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen. Much loved dad of John, Andrew, Kay, Marie, Christopher, Richard and Helen. A dear father-in-law, also a loving grandad and great grandpa. Would friends please meet for funeral service on Monday 10th June at Sunderland Crematorium at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Macmillan Nurses.
