On Wednesday 5th November 2025, Bernie passed away peacefully in the St Bede's Hospice, Gateshead, aged 75.
An adored husband to Linda,
a much loved father to Stephen and David, father-in-law to Sharon and Suzanne, a devoted grandad to Harvey and Miley,
a brother to Ann and Betty
and a cherished friend to many.
He will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral service will be held at Durham Crematorium on
Friday 21st November 2025 at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome to Chester-le-Street Cricket Club, Ropery Ln, Chester-le-Street,
DH3 3PF after the service.
Family flowers only please.
Should anyone wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers, please make these to St Bede's Hospice, Gateshead in honour of Bernie.
