Suddenly but peacefully on 20th September 2025 whilst on holiday, aged 83 years. Dave, dearly loved husband of Judith, much loved father of Katherine and Colin, Neil and Jane, Andrew and Gill. Devoted grandad to Aaron and Rebecca, Jordan and Sophie, Evie, Lucas, Daniel and MaisieJane. Also, a cherished great grandad to Chester and Darcey and a dear brother to Mary, Margaret, Ann, Peter, Teresa, Michael, Eileen and the late George, Tom and Gerald, also a loving uncle and great uncle.
Family and friends please meet for requiem mass at St Michael's RC Church, Houghton-le-Spring on Friday 17th October at 9.30am. Cremation to follow at Sunderland Crematorium at 11.30am. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer's Research UK for which a donation box will be provided at church and crematorium. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Houghton Rugby Club to which you are all warmly invited.
