The moment that you died my heart was torn in two,
One side filled with heartache,
the other died with you.
I often lie awake at night,
when the world is fast asleep,
and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks.
Remembering you is easy,
I do it every day,
but missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain.
So on your first birthday away from home we send you lots of love,
reunited once again with our
beautiful mam up above.

Happy Birthday memories Granda fill my heart today,
With all the warmth ive missed so much since you went away,
I knew that I could turn to you if ever things went wrong,
And you would be there to help me, gentle, kind and strong,
And when I stop and think about the lovely times we had,
