To the Edness family,

On behalf of a Regiment family, you have our sincere warm hearted prayers. I will miss him dearly. He was a joy to talk to. One who had a warm embrace, whenever I had to take my son something he left at home and always found soldier Edness at the gate. S. Outerbridge

Sharon, Ray and all the family, I am deeply saddened and stunned that such a lovely, positive and life-loving young man has been taken from us so early in his life. I had the pleasure of teaching Aaron English at WA for few years as part of the wonderfully memorable Music class he was a key part of. He was always a bright and vibrantly good-humored boy, with a mature and sensitive temperament beyond his years. The last time he came to see me was on a visit to WA with his friend Patrick Suter last year; it was great to see that he still had all of those infectiously endearing qualities that made him such a popular young man to know. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you in the coming months ahead. God bless you all.

Sharon, Ray and Sharae,
I was shocked when I picked up the newspaper on Monday morning. It was with great sadness that I realized that it was Aaron. Brian, Danielle, Dylan and I have you in our thoughs and prayers. Danielle remembered how kind Aaron was to her and how she would always sit on his lap at Sharae's birthday parties. He will be greatly missed. Brian, Vicki, Danielle and Dylan Lightbourn

My heart shattered this morning when I saw the photo of a young man in Regiment fatigues and realized it was someone who I'd interacted with often when Dir. of Communications for the Government. I'd never seen him out of fatigues. What a beautiful, kind and wonderful spirit Aaron was. Although a young soul, with his call to journey Home, the world has lost, truly lost, some of it brightness. To the family, the pain you feel only reflects the depth of love you have for your son. My heart is with you. (Beverle Lottimore - Bermuda/Washington DC)

To the Edness family,

I remember Aaron when he attended Warwick Academy with my cousin Michael Darrell. He was always smiling and was such a pleasant person to be around. Just the other day I passed him on his bike along Cottage Hill. I was away when I heard of his untimely death. I still can't believe that he is gone.

Family, during this difficult time, that Lord will never leave you, so when you have those moments and I know you will, lean on him for his understanding of this situation.

May you find peace during this difficult time and remember that one day soon you will see Aaron again.

Be encouraged - 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 "When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

I have very fond memories of Aaron which I will forever cherish. He was a very dear friend and will be missed tremendously. He touched many lives with his ever cheerful spirit and 'teddy bear' ways. A true 'gentle giant'. One of the fondest memories I have of him is how he interacted with the little ones at Warwick Academy. A heard of them would run to him as we walked across the field and he'd scoop each and every single one with a cuddle... Rest in Peace my friend... I am truly blessed to have known you.
